How do I organize a charity challenge on Cancer Fighters?
If you want to learn how to start your own charity campaign on Cancer Fighters, we have a short guide for you that explains the organizational details step by step.
Visit our challenges page. You’ll find the registration form there . It only takes a moment to fill it out. Describe in a few words what you plan to do and what motivates you. Specify the goal of your campaign—the amount you want to raise—as well as the location and date of the event. If you want to support a specific beneficiary of our foundation, add a link to their fundraising page for treatment. You can also organize a charity challenge for the foundation, whichever you prefer.
Finally, let’s talk about promotional items—specifically, T-shirts featuring the Cancer Fighters logo. After all, even the most creative ideas for helping others need the right publicity. As part of organizing the event, we’ll send you a T-shirt (please provide your size and the address where you’d like it sent). You can wear it during the event or take a commemorative photo in it for the event page.
Speaking of photos, be sure to attach a few to the form—we’ll use them to promote the event in the media. If it’s a sports charity event, you can include photos that show you in action during training, for example. At Cancer Fighters, we always prioritize authenticity and transparency in our charitable efforts. Behind every event, there are people and their stories. Share yours!
Don't forget to include your contact information so we can get in touch with you once we've reviewed your request!
How to organize a charity challenge – assess the scale of the challenge
Organizing a sporting event is a wonderful idea. However, you need to make sure the scale of the challenge matches your capabilities. Extreme and creative ideas for helping others attract attention, but they also come with risks. Pushing your limits? Sure, but without putting your health and life at risk.
Determine which idea has the best chance of success. A realistic goal will not only inspire greater trust and interest among potential donors, but will also boost your motivation and your confidence that the campaign will be a success.
The most common challenge is a sports-related charity event. It doesn’t have to involve climbing the highest peaks. A daily walk, a group workout, cycling a set route, or a charity run will suffice. How can you organize a charity challenge if you’re not physically active? There are plenty of options. It could be, for example, a reading challenge, giving up a habit (like a month without sweets), listening to a song on repeat, or even… building a record number of sandcastles. You can also combine helping people with cancer with helping animals. How? Your challenge could be, for example, regularly taking dogs from a shelter for a walk.

How can I raise money for charity?
Do you know how to organize a charity campaign but have no idea how to raise funds while it’s underway? The charity challenges on Cancer Fighters feature a dedicated page for each campaign. There’s also a section there for donations from potential donors. When promoting the campaign in the media, we share a link to the donation page.
Fundraising can be motivational. People who are rooting for you make donations after you complete each stage of the campaign, such as cycling 5 km. You can also raise funds through “donation tickets,” which serve as a symbolic ticket to a public event, such as a local charity run. Our history of fundraising campaigns also includes corporate challenges, such as collecting old printer cartridges. Support for the campaign took the form of donating old cartridges, and in return, the company provided financial support to the beneficiaries of our foundation.

How can I get my friends to help?
How do you create a charity challenge that will get people talking? Get your family and friends involved! The support of your loved ones will give you the motivation and energy you’ll need if you hit a rough patch while taking on the challenge. Your friends can help spread the word by sharing a link to the campaign on their social media. You’ll also appreciate their support during the event itself, such as along the running or cycling route. Share your idea at work, school, or college. The more of us there are, the better!
You can also encourage your loved ones to actively participate in the event. We know from experience that sometimes the scale of an event (especially a sporting one) can make some people hesitant to join in. In that case, a good option is to join the event at a certain stage, according to your abilities. If your loved ones will be working toward the goal with you, include them on the form by specifying the number of Cancer Fighters logo T-shirts needed!
In addition to providing organizational and emotional support, your loved ones can also support your campaign financially. How can you encourage them to do so? We’re more willing to help when we see the results. By organizing a charity campaign on the Cancer Fighters platform, we make it easy to track the progress of your challenge. Your friends can cheer you on and stay up to date no matter where they are.
