The illness that changed everyday life
The first symptoms appeared in November 2025. The back pain was so severe that, with each passing day, it increasingly robbed Grzegorz of his strength and his ability to live a normal life. After detailed tests, he was diagnosed with multiple myeloma. Treatment began, including radiation therapy and chemotherapy. Despite the enormous strain on his body, the fight continues. On May 26, Grzegorz began another cycle of chemotherapy.
The biggest challenge remains caring for my wife
The illness has turned Grzegorz’s daily life upside down. Despite his own suffering and grueling treatment, he tries every day to care for his wife, who has Alzheimer’s. It is this responsibility for his loved one that is one of his greatest challenges today. Fighting pain and physical weakness while simultaneously caring for his ailing wife requires immense mental and physical strength.
