Symptoms of the disease
The first worrying symptoms appeared in 2017. My periods were very heavy. They were accompanied by severe pain, heavy bleeding, nausea, and vomiting, which gradually sapped my strength and prevented me from functioning normally.
Due to a cyst on my right ovary, I underwent surgery involving a partial resection of the organ. A year later, I had another surgery, this time for a cyst on my left ovary. Despite the treatment, my symptoms persisted, and my health gradually deteriorated.
Histopathological examination
In the years that followed, I received a diagnosis that explained the increasing severity of my pain: stage IV endometriosis. That was the moment when many things began to come together into a painful whole, though the journey toward understanding was still ongoing.
During the next surgery, the hardest news came. The histopathological examination revealed stage II clear cell ovarian cancer. That news brought everything to a standstill for a moment.
Treatment and complications
I underwent chemotherapy. It was difficult and demanding, but my body responded positively, giving me hope and, for the first time in a long while, a moment when I could believe that the treatment was starting to work.
As a result of numerous surgeries, further serious complications arose, including drug-induced polyneuropathy, worsening diabetes, memory and concentration problems, and tachycardia. Each of these brought new limitations and additional challenges to daily life.
Difficult everyday life
I am currently under the care of several specialists. I spend my days at home, trying to find my footing in this new reality. I have also returned to work, where I have been met with understanding and tremendous support from management. My family is also a huge source of strength for me; they stand by me in this struggle every day.
Today, however, even simple tasks can be a major challenge. I often struggle with severe pain that limits my independence and saps my strength.
Passions
Before I got sick, my life was different. I had hobbies and interests that brought me joy. I loved photography, games, and sports, which were part of my daily life and kept me full of energy.
Please support me
Today, I am asking for your help in this difficult battle. The costs of treatment are very high, and my needs continue to grow; I am unable to cover them on my own. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for every gesture of support.
